NFL Draft: The Analyst’s Predictions

It’s that time of year. You know, the time of year when there is literally nothing to get excited about on Sundays, fantasy apps are closed for “maintenance” and we’re left clutching, exasperating at the drips and drabs of news filtering through from the free agency fall out. With the 2018 NFL Draft now firmly on the horizon and after news broke that the Jets and Colts had instigated the inaugural monster trade of the new season, i took to twitter to ask some familiar faces within the industry what their predictions were for the top 10 picks in the upcoming draft process hosted in Arlington, Texas.

This years draft is certainly set to be one of the most valuable drafts in recent memory with potentially five quarterbacks being taken in the first 15 picks as teams look to solidify their franchises with the mouth-watering talents available this year to solidify that all important role under center. But who will it be? Will Cleveland draft a QB with the first overall pick? If so, will it be Darnold, Rosen or Mayfield? Did Josh Allen impress enough in the combine when he showed off his supernatural arm strength? Does this then leave the door open for the Giants to pick up superstar and combine winner Saquon Barkley to fill their need at running back? There is certainly a lot of scenarios to think about, so let’s dig deep into the minds of NFL analysts and find out what their takes and opinions are.

I would like to thank all of the analysts that took part in helping me put together this list and after the combined average results you will be able to take a look at what their selections were individually.
