As we approach Week 7, we find ourselves missing the top quarterback, running back and number 2 receiver. This certainly changes the landscape of fantasy football, especially in redraft and dynasty formats. Luckily for DFS, this doesn’t hurt as much and opens up move opportunities at discounts. Take a look at the following players who I fancy to be good adds for your Draft Kings, Play Draft or Fan Duel lineups.
Jared Goff vs ARI, Price $5800
Jarred Goff has exceeded all of our expectations this season. Right now he’s ranked QB 15, just outside of the QB1 territory and this week he faces a juicy match-up against Arizona in London, who are a bottom 5 defense in the league against the pass this season so far. This becomes a great opportunity for a big game from the former Cal Bear.
Matt Ryan @NE, Price $7500
Matt Ryan has underperformed all season which makes me slightly hesitant about this pick. In his favour though, Josh McCown scored 25 points last week against a struggling Patriots defence and what better way for Matty Ice to get back on track then against the team that beat him in the Super Bowl last February. If Ryan is able to fire up under performing superstar Julio Jones or take advantage of the Patriots poor stats against pass catching running backs, Ryan could have a very productive week
Tyrod Taylor vs TB, Price $5100
Brett Hundley vs NO, Price $5100
Dion Lewis vs ATL Price $4700
Last week after a Mike Gillislee fumble, Dion Lewis got the majority share of snaps at Running Back for the Patriots and looked good in the process. This week Lewis faces a Falcons defense who likes giving up passing yards to the pass catching backs and he should be a solid play.
Carlos Hyde vs DAL, Price $5900
Alvin Kamara @ GB, Price $5600
Robert Woods vsAZ, Price $4000
This might be the last time I put this, but any number two receiver going against Justin Bethal is a must play. Robert Woods should be no different going against a corner who masters in giving up the big play. He should also be a great stack with Goff.
Allen Hurns @IND, Price $4100
Ricardo Louis vs TENN, Price $4200
Jimmy Graham @ NYG- $4900
The Giants have given up five touchdowns to the tight end position, joint second worst in the league. Graham is one of the more talented tight ends to face the G-Men this year and is at a very affordable price after somewhat under-performing this season. This is a mouthwatering match-up for the former Saint and I expect him to be within to top 5 perfoming TE’s in fantasy this week
Kyle Rudolph vs BAL, Price $2700
Rudolph is another underperforming tight end which may be down to the unpredictability at QB in Minnesota this season and has seen a significant drop in price in DFS. A matchup against a Ravens defense who struggles against the tight end should be enough to jumpstart his performance.
AJ Derby @ LAC – $2800
Gerald Everett vs AZ – $2600
Titans @ CLE- $3400
Cleveland is switching their QB back to rookie DeShone Kizer this week. This carousel of QB’s doesn’t make a difference other than showing what a great match-up any defense is against the Browns as they continue to struggle to put up any major points or yardage.
Pittsburgh vs CIN- $3200
Yes the Bengals offense looks better and AJ Green has seemingly got back on track. The thing is they still have Andy Dalton who loves throwing interceptions and the offensive line loves giving up sacks. The Steelers defense should thrive.
If Jordan Matthews is healthy at $3700 he could be a huge play against a Bucs defense that has been shredded all season. Marquis Goodwin for SF is also a big play threat in a favorable matchup against Dallas at only $3900
At running back Marlon Mack has the talent it’s just a matter if he’ll get the opportunity to succeed. Taking a chance at a $4100 price tag could be worth it. Latavius Murray still got a solid amount of carries last week and at $4000 against a Ravens defense who’s struggled against the run he could be a threat to get in the end zone.
